Business and human rights issues are becoming a global priority, as companies aim to ‘do good while doing no harm’.  The Governance Group offers e-learning courses as well as in-person training. This will help participants implement Responsible Business Conduct standards, across business operations and supply chains, which can help gain and retain a social license to operate.

Training outcomes

At the completion of the course, participants will:

  • Have a basic understanding of the normative framework including the OECD guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP)
  • Have an overview of relevant legislation including EU, UK and the new Norwegian human rights due diligence law
  • Gain insight on why and how due diligence is carried out including for the supply chain and business partners

About the course instructor
